Nice simple Ohana solid mahogany soprano:

Wait a minute, that looks like a tenor neck!

Oh, it's a tenor-necked soprano! Or is it a soprano-bodied tenor?

Here it is with some of the other kids. Overall length is concert-like (it actually fits nicely in my concert HSC). And the body is actually just a tad smaller than that Ohana soprano hanging next to it.

How's the balance holding it? Is the head heavy? I was eying the koaloha tenor-necked soprano, but wasn't ready to pull the trigger at their price.

It's a mutant !!!!

Congrats on the new uke. Ohana makes nice instruments (I have 2). How does it sound?

The balance is pretty good, actually. It's obviously more neck-heavy than a typical soprano, but I thought it would be more neck-heavy than it is. Very easy to play while standing, without a strap (for me anyway, YMMV). Soprano is my favorite body size, but it's nice to have that extra room for the left hand.

Sound is bright and clean. Came strung with what I assume to be Aquillas, but I'll probably be changing them out soon. Hilos or maybe brown Worths, at least for starters.
