Ok so i took out my konablaster last night to play a little and i noticed the plate that the bridge rests over is tarnished no idea how or why i keep it in the case and i have only had it since last year. It has had no exposure to the outside or anything like that.

I rubbed on it with my finger and it came off, the problem is to get to the rest of it would be impossible with out removing the bridge and I'm no handy man and i don't want to do that.

Is there any tricks to cleaning instruments like this to polish them up with out having to remove anything?

Haven't seen yours, but I like Tarn-X to get rid of most tarnishes. I use a Q-tip. Lightly dab it on, no need to scrub. Wipe off. Have to wipe off those metal parts just like metal strings. Sweat and body oils can play hell with many types of metals.
