My first ukulele is a mango soprano Flea. Because the body was a little scatched, I decided to dress it up with inlay stickers. The fretboard marker stickers really light up the black plastic fretboard and make it easier to see.
I'm was not having much trouble with the black fretboard, but I really like the way the stickers made it look. Many people have difficulty with not being able to see the frets and the few fret marker dots on the Fluke and Flea plastic fretboards. Maybe this will help.

That looks very nice. Where did you get the stickers?

Really gives it some dazzle, doesn't it? I've thought about ordering the small stickers for the side of my fretboard. They are offered on ebay.

Order inlay stickers from Japan with free shipping from http://www.inlaysticker.com/
Or from the same person on eBay, jockomo81
Just search for "inlay stickers". Be sure to order ukulele stickers for the fretboard. The guitar fretboard stickers will be too big unless you modify them. There are lots of different styles and all the stickers can be removed, leaving no adhesive.
