I did a version of this on my Kiwaya K-Wave concert a couple of weeks before the Seasons of the Ukulele started in 2012. Now I have the chance to try it again for the 117th Season theme of science fiction. This time, I made it all the way through in a single take. This is a Kawika tenor run through the effects processor module of a Yamaha MOX6 synthesizer.
