yeah so i tried it, being someone who can play banjo/tenor banjo and mandolin the chords we're already familiar to me. This spark an interest for me to maybe get a tenor banjo (i love how it sounds with a banjo) however on a non-banjo instrument i just still don't like 5th's tuning. I still am sticking by 'Chicago' tuning is the best for this instrument for my taste. At least i gave it a go.
