Talking about longneck's. What happened to the KPK pineapple?

Why am I looking at long neck sopranos? I have no idea.

UAS, my man. You're looking at longnecks because you don't have one yet!

Not trying to enable you or anything...but Elderly has them... http://elderly.com/new_instruments/...g9100-l-soprano-long-neck-ukulele--G9100L.htm ... only $109, free shipping, and they're running a 10% off everyting promotion right now...

(I found myself in a very similar situation recently, which resulted in an Ohana tenor-necked soprano!)

Why am I looking at long neck sopranos? I have no idea. But I've been looking at things like the Kala SLNG which a lot of folks have mentioned here. But also found mention of the Gretsch 9100-L here (http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-rEvZEjFHlQ) and here (http://theukulelereview.com/2014/01/24/ukulele-at-namm-2014-day-1/). What happened to that one? I see it offered at a few eBay sellers but I don't se it listed at any of the "reputable" dealers.

I don't see a lot of Gretsch promo in general considering the quality of the ones you can lay hands on. My gretsch is my favorite for playing and it sounds really decent for a two hundred buck uke. The neck design is fantastic imo. One day soon I may own that Koa model.

Thanks @lomafootSD - must have just come in cuz that page was not there when I started this thread. Dang, now I'm gonna have to go look!

Way to go with the video Andrew..............now I need to get a long neck AND learn claw hammer. That was very cool, Corey could make a turd on a stick sound good.

I love my Gretsch tenor, it is sitting on one of the kitchen chairs having dinner with me. Just finished about 45 minutes playing and it needs some nourishment.

Gretsch has changed the lineup of their Roots collection. I like what they offer now, but also miss the Deluxe versions they offered last year. You gotta build what sells, though, so I guess it makes sense.
