so i went to sam ash looked at their ukes i was going for a tenor but they only had 2 in stock which were ugly and cheapos. I tried out the pacific walnut kala and it sounded amazing and looked amazing. I'm not against the concert size and im happy with it, eventually i will get a tenor but this thing was to pretty and sounded to nice to pass up. photo (1).jpg

Nice! Congrats!

Nice, very nice. I always liked that model, Pacific Walnut has a goodtime vintage folksey look to it

Now I KNOW you have the bug! LOL

im happy with my purchase it looks and sounds and plays great.
if they did have the tenor version probably would have went with the tenor but im still very happy with the concert size.

I'm really happy with the purchase overall even though i was after a tenor.
now that i like this model so much, im thinking of getting the tenor version
as well down the line, and if not this specific model for tenor i'm going for
kala, they may be made in the same factory but over all from playing this wonderful
uke and having owned lanikai i prefer kala (even my older kala beginner soprano was better than
the lanikai lu21). I think their ukes overall have a better design a bit more interesting and attention
to detail. I'm in uke heaven right now lol
