FS: Ohana Thinline Tenor

Up for sale is my Ohana TKS-15E tenor. You can read all about it and see pictures in my NUD thread from last year:

I added a strap button that you can see here:

Currently strung with Southcoast Soft Light Mediums that I have tuned to Bb reentrant. I probably still have the original Aquilas if you want them.

This uke is still in 'as new' condition. I'm only selling as it occupies the same niche as my new IK. I don't need two tenors. I guess I could tune it different. Hmm, might do that if I don't get any interest. But I'd also like to try some other things like longneck soprano - I would consider trade plus/minus cash for that.

Price new was $200 not including shipping. My price is $155 (was $165) including shipping to CONUS or actual shipping to elsewhere.

I am too broke and too overburden with UAS right now, but this is a great deal if anyone is looking. Sounds like a lot of good work done by both MIM and JIM (that rhymes!)

Thanks igor. Yes, setup from Mim is perfect and I like the strap with just the one button and tied to the headstock - balances well. I forgot to put a dated photo, so here it is. The gig bag and strap are not included in the sale price but if you need one or both, let's talk.

(And I do know how to spell ukulele - spell checker doesn't work on paper - doh!)

Blasphemy! You need at least one in high G and one in low G. At least. :p
:) ok, fair enough. But I do have linear tuning covered with low E acoustic baritone and low D electric baritone. I'd rather make room for something different like longneck soprano.

Sounds like a plan with the Longneck Soprano. Which make?

Currently looking at the lower cost options - Kala SLNG, Gretsch 9100L, and KPK. Maybe even a concert Flea but I dont like friction pegs and Peghed option makes it pretty expensive relative to the others. Kinda leaning towards KPK at the moment.

Great stuff. I have been eyeing the KoAloha Soprano with Tenor neck ... kind of cool. Won't be for a while though. Good luck on the sale.

KPK won't answer my emails so I broke down and got a Kala SLNG to tide me over. :p

So this one needs to go to make some room. $160 gets it shipped to CONUS - will consider other locations at actual shipping cost.

I have this one, Jim...soprano body...TENOR neck. Very cool. Think I paid $130 for it.

Bump. My loooong neck soprano build should start this week so this needs to go. Already 25% off on this better-than-new uke. Gotta be a newbie looking to try tenor or an old timer looking for a great traveler.

Better-than-new? Whatddaya mean by that? Southcoast strings and added strap button. Plus all that mojo it's soaked up just being around here. :p

Still available. How about $160 with the Ohana gig bag included? The last batch of pictures got lost so I'll have to take some new ones if there is any interest.
