I've had my TK-35G for years now, and I did notice that having a 9th fret marker instead of a 10th was annoying when switching between ukuleles, but I never realized that it might be incorrect.

You can see how these changed from a 9th fret marker, to a 10th, which unless I'm wrong, 10th is the common marking?

I'm wondering if this was manufacturing error back then, or if it was intentional and serves a purpose?

Anyways, I put some of those fret-marker decals on it so I have a 10th marker now and it's not so confusing for me.

9th fret is standard on guitars and some uke makers follow that marking, especially, though not exclusively, if they were guitar makers first.

The 9th fret dot make this one more unique/special. :) But I understand how confuse it is.
