Anyone have a deluxe version uke. Just wondering if the wood grade is different than the standard model or is it just the "gingerbread" your paying for? I checked out the site and the deluxe photos look different?

I have a deluxe tenor acacia and I think the wood is beautiful, lovely grain and pattern. But, I've never seen a regular KPK to compare.

I've had both..the deluxe I had looked and sounded better...more rich while the regular had a much more brighter tone.. but the bright tone was nice too.
Did you get the bone upgrade on either uke ? I read the upgrade makes it sound brighter ?
