I have a type 1 National Vintage Tenor Guitar that can be tuned like a baritone uke or in 5ths (similar to mandolin).
It is German Silver from around 1928-1929. One of the pear shaped tenor guitars they made. This one is a tri-cone. It has a few bumps and bruises (beauty marks). It was refurbished and setup at the National factory a few years ago and is straight.
The video is The Quiet American's Aaron Keim playing this guitar at a house concert last fall.
I'm looking to see if anyone is interested in this vintage instrument that comes with it's original hard case. I think it should sell for around $1999
