View Full Version : What kind of small humifier will fit in my Martin case?

I have a Herco but it is way too big to fit in the case.What should I use?

Ok thanks.That is a good idea.I'll have to make something a little smaller though.Maybe 1" by 2"(not much room in the case).

I use dampit humidifiers. The violin sized ones work great for ukes. I also use the larger ones for my guitars.

If you want to make your own real inexpensively buy a toothbrush cover. Walgreens has them in packs of 4. Get some green floral foam. You can get that real cheap at any florist. Cut the foam to fit into the toothbrush cover, fill with water, shake excess off & dry outside with a cloth. They work very, very well. They are small. Mine are only 1 1/2" x 1". I use 2 of them in my tenor case. I made 4 of them for about $5.

they make small cigar humidor humidifiers that would work very much like aldrines pez one...it uses the garden variety gel stuff, stays wet about 2 weeks or so...i have one about the size of a half dollar
