The Entertainer - Gibson tenor 1928

I'm trying new strings on the Gibson tenor vintage. Normal strings are too hard, so I choose custom Savarez strings with lower tension to avoid damaging the soundboard.

For info the strings are
Savarez KF alliance (4 kg nominal tension)
A : 0.45
E : 0.60
C : 0.74
G : 0.52

Playing that would make any ragtime fan proud. So well done, u. How you can learn these complex arrangements so fast will always puzzle me.

That instrument is so lovely! Looks to be in ideal condition, incl. the painted label on the headstock. That tenor Gibby is quite the score.

I may try those Savarez strings.

Only a Gibson is Good Enough!
I'm a Gibson girl. I am very fond of Gibson instruments. I have a beautiful Gibson guitar from the 1940s and an old Gibson soprano uke from the 1930s.
Your Gibson looks and sounds beautiful. Your playing is exquisite.
