Vintage B&J all-solid mahogany soprano for sale, $175 plus shipping or best offer.
Rope binding rosette and around the soundboard. 12 frets to the body. Friction tuners that hold well. Very light, with low action.
Width of fingerboard:
1 and 5/16" at the nut
1 and 7/16" at first fret
1 and 11/16" at fifth fret
1 and 13.5/16" at tenth fret
The yellowed soundhole label says, "The Mele" Hawaiian Ukulele B&J New York.
Very easy to play. There is a little buzz when strummed aggressively. Great sweet, plinky sound. Perfect for someone interested in vintage sopranos.
