Spindle sander mod- add 1/4" sanding capacity

Thought id share what i did today-

I noticed that my sanding poles (for lack of a better term) went underneath the bed of my harbour freight spindle sander when it was in its lowest position.

So i added enough wood so at its zenith, it was just below the yellow insert thingy and this gave me an extra 1/4" vertical sanding capacity which is really handy when making molds or any curved thing.

I also use this machine to sand the uke waist

"yellow insert thingy"? You always have to throw around the big technical jargon eh?
