I'm in a position (geographically speaking) where I can only get tenor Aquila Reds. Has anyone used Aquila Reds for tenor on a concert? Does it work alright.

Only tenor strings???

Whee are you? I have many sets of concert reds for sale. Mailing them in an envelope is fast and cheap.

Without knowing the specific gauges between the tenor set and concert, it's hard to say whether it will work perfectly.

You should be fine, but (with the above statement in mind), the tenor set may be bigger gauges than you're used to, and/or may feel a bit floppy in tension compared to what the concert set would.

Well, they currently only have Aquila Red tenor sets at Baan here in Bangkok. I know I can always order overseas, but I thought if the tenors work well on a concert, I'll just buy more tenor sets.

I imagine it being like one bad monkey said, somewhat loose tension, but I don't mind tuning up a bit when playing solo. Still, if anybody has had a similar experience, (tenor strings on a concert) I'd like to hear about it.
