Hi there,
I had to have a new bridge built. The tenor has a low G and new strings for the rest. My brother noticed the sound hole is slopping downward.
Is the string tension (tuned correctly to pitch) causing this? It does not have a block in the bottom. It is mahogany 1950's or so built model - mid range price. Do I have to un-tune and re-tune each time I play it to lessen the tension? TIA! Tulip Karen (new to the list a/o 6/17th of June.
