I am offering for sale two exceptional tenor scale ukuleles made by Tom Heller. One is redwood and Madagascar rosewood. [NOW SOLD] The other is one-piece sitka and Indian rosewood. Both have very nice hard cases.

Tom builds classical guitars under the name Heller Guitars and he builds ukuleles under the name Killer Ukes. Tom's ukuleles are very responsive (like classical guitars) with great volume, projection and clarity. I particularly enjoy composing and recording with them, as they have excellent note separation and expressiveness; again like classical guitars.

Sylvan Music in California represents Tom's ukuleles and retails Tom's Killer Ukes between $2,500 and $2,800 depending on woods used.

I've shared several fine ukuleles on UU (Collings and Kinnard), and look forward to sharing these wonderful instruments with whoever buys them. I am asking $1,000 for each shipped in the continental US. I have plenty of pictures. Just ask! :)

Wow, they're beautiful! There are so many fine builders around today, there's no excuse for not being able to find someone! Wish one was a concert....SIGH...I know these will find good homes!

These are great ukes and if I recall, Tom Heller worked with Pepe Romero Jr. on his design and building techniques.

I am making these ukes available again. Killer deal for Killer Ukes if someone would like both. :)

beautiful. do they have fret markers on the side?, more useful to me than on the fretboard.

I feel the exactly same way, so Tom built these for me with nicely visible side markers at 3rd, 5th, 7th and 10th frets.
