SOLD: Scott Wise tenor

Earlier this year I was fortunate to acquire a Scott Wise tenor. This one is gently used, about 5 years old and well played but in excellent condition. The design is simple and classic (no fret markers top, a small marker on the side at the 5th fret.). Flamed Tasmanian Blackwood is used for the top, back and sides. Handmade elegant rope binding and rosette, ebony headstock and fretboard. This Wise is a standard tenor with 12 frets to the body from 2009, serial number 299. The light weight and feel are reminiscent of vintage instruments, but with a deep, full, rich tone. Some of its great sound attributes may be due to being previously owned and played by a working musician (nicely broken-in and very open). There are no dings or dents or scratches (amazing). A hard case is included. It's a great uke, but I've got keep my number of ukes under control.

Oasis low g strings are on it, and I love the sound. I often play it in B or B-flat tuning as the uke sounds warm, very resonant and smooth, like butter. Currently, it is in C tuning but it sounds great in B or B-flat tuning.

I ordered two ukes from Scott in November, a 12 fret tenor and a baritone. He emailed that he will ship one on Monday. I hope that mine look as nice as yours. Considering what I am paying for the new ones. your price seems exceptionally reasonable.
