Here's a clip of my 30s Gibson Uke2 (Fremont Blacklines) and the new Kamaka HP-1D pineapple (Living Water)..........vintage build v. modern build. The old wood has a great bark while the new koa is much rounder in tone.

Both ukes sound great with your groovy playing. Nice.

Both sound great but a slight edge to the Gibson. Love your playing, was having a hard time figuring out what you were doing until I realized you're left handed...duh!
