Baritone Ukulele cover of "Let's Do It, Let's Fall in Love" (Cole Porter)

Hello guys,

Haven't heard your music before, but the title caught my attention. This is one of my all time early-mid 20th favorites. The version I know is by Benny Goodman w/ Peggy Lee. Don't know if you've heard that one, but it's great!

It also has some rather racial overtones in the first verse. I don't think they're terrible, but apparently even in the 1930s they caused enough of a stir that Cole changed them up. The verses have had a bunch of different configurations since - I wonder which version your site used?

Just the same, the main thing is that to me, this song really always had a beautiful rhythm, and a good vocalist could really swing it. I checked some of your other videos, and even though Cherie is a fine vocalist in her own right, Matt just killed this vocal! (with a subtle sweet swinging baritone rhythm, of course). I, for one, will have to try to keep track of you two.

David was the one who covered this one! I had no singing part in this :)

Glad you enjoyed it!
