I'm learning a Hank Williams blues song and ran across this picture with Hank Sr. with a guitar, and little Jr. with a ukulele.

Maybe it's been posted before, but I had never seen it until now.

Cute pic, thanks for sharing

That's a great photo. The little string that is being used for a uke strap - too cute!

I've seen that photo before, can't remember where.

Maybe a little too much of Hank, Sr. If you know what I mean. Live fast, die young is the goal there. Jr. and III have not been quite as successful at that...yet.

Little Hank. Little Georgie Harrison. Little Eric Clapton. Once upon a time it seemed kind of natural to stick four nylon strings into the hands of a kid.
Wish that had happened to me at age 5. And that I would have had any sense.

SR was born with Spina Biffida Occulta and reportedly had constant back pain. Obviously pain control technology in the 40's isn't what it is today, and the bottle was one way to help control it.

Hank Williams, Sr., really was an outstanding songwriter. A genuine gift there.
