View Full Version : I've been making another Jig

I already had a jig for doing this job ..but it was a bit flimsy and I'm in the process of making a load of tail blocks for my next batch ;) and I decided now is the time to make a new improved jig....so i got some sturdy blocks of hardwood & hardware that I had laying around and got to work.

I'd been looking at improving mine too Ken, and your's is a better idea than I had for mine.

Very nice Ken. Great idea for keeping accuracy and repeatability. I was wondering, about how many custom jigs and fixtures do you estimate you use in the making of one of your sopranos? You certainly could write the book (or make the video) on how to properly build a Martin style soprano. Thanks.
