I spotted an old ukulele the other day. "St George Classique 2" says the label. All I know is it's old, soprano, post tuners, has surprising tone for such an old piece. No camera on hand, but I'll bring one next week when I get over there again.

The owner doesn't know anything about the history either. Says he got it off the wall of a surf shop some years ago to goof off. He was impressed enough with the sound that he bought it.

I got some images yesterday. The ukulele is solid wood. I'm thinking mahogany. Tuners are traditional peg. It's a standard (soprano) sized instrument. If anyone can offer some insight on this uke, it'll be much appreciated.

There are no other identifying marks on it. The label has no date, place, or anything else pointing us anywhere.
