Ok hi everyone. Im new here haha im new to forums too so bear with me! :D Ive had my makala tenor for a few years now. always loved it but went a long time without playing it. i recently started getting inspired to play music again. and pulled the ole girl out. ive been doing really well but if im gunna start recording anything i need to upgrade ha. my makal is warped so i managed to jerry-rig a new bridge to raise the strings a bit as you might see in my picture. it plays fine but its not as good as what i could be using.
Anyway i am thinking of upgrading to a Luna Mo'o Concert cedar.

I love cedar -- a lot. I've actually been doing a little research on this model.

Here's a link to Hawaii Music Supply (with a sound sample): http://www.theukulelesite.com/luna-mo-o-cedar-top-concert-w-pickup.html

And here also is a YouTUbe link to a review by Ukulele Magazine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iy_ykDCsdGI

Hope these help.

Sounds mighty sweet in the HMS video linked above. Also looks like a pretty nice price. I have a cedar rosewood (it isn't a Luna) and I love it. The sound is lively, powerful and sweet.

I have the Luna spruce top concert from HMS. I love it a little more each time I play it. The neck feels perfect . It is good for strumming and picking. I have been considering the Luna cedar tonewood models.
I think Luna is a great value.

Luna's build quality always seems nice. I'm just not up for the decoration.
