For show-off, here is ukulele #5 out of 7
"Over the rainbow" was built as a graduation present for my daughter. She has a wonderful singing voice was was Dorothy in the high school production of the Wizard of Oz. Seeing her up on stage singing "bluebirds fly over the rainbow, why-of-why can't I" really brings a tear to a father's eye. The notes on the fingerboard are "over the rainbow".

Sitka spruce and East Indian rosewood from dumpster diving at Martin Guitar back in the 70's, ebony headplate and fingerboard, Pennsylvania walnut neck, curly maple binding, Kasha braced.

This is the second Kasha braced uke I have built and comparing these two against fan braced ones they both have (out of a sample size of 2) a rounder more 'guitar' like sound with great sustain.

Beautiful work, your daughter is a lucky girl. As a daddy/grandpa myself, it brings a tear to my eye as well.
