Brisbane Ukulele Musicians Society or BUMS (rolls eyes) is a club in Brisbane, Queensland Australia.

I'm just wondering if there are any Aussie members that go to this club?

Apparently their next meeting is on the 3rd March at the Kookaburra Cafe'
280 Given Tce PADDINGTON, Brisbane, Queensland from 7pm till 9:30pm.

I'm thinking about taking a look, so it'd be nice to see another Ukulele Underground face there. Apparently there's usually at least 10 people there.

I went to the Brisbane Ukulele Club tonight for the first time, and I've gotta say - I was pleasantly suprised.

There were some good players there - with some quite nice instruments. I finally got to look at and play a tenor ukulele and it was beautiful. The people at the club were really friendly, and a good time was had by everyone.

I really recommend if you are in Brisbane you should come along to the club. It's the first Monday of every month.

Hey, I hadn't joined here when this original message was posted, but am wondering if anyone is going this month? I just checked their MySpace and it's on Monday 5 May. Am thinking of checking it out...
