2014 Kala resos?

Any word on the new Kala resonators? Was told they might be in Canada in August but haven't heard anything since. Looking for a tenor...

I have seen some on ebay. I't my understanding that they are quite an improvement over the previous model with a larger cone and better sound. Mike at UkeRepublic has verified this. Don't know if any UU'ers have one yet. I bought the old concert size and while it's bluesy and kind of funky sounding, it probably shouldn't be played in the same room with a MyaMoe. I don't know how close the tolerances are on that new Kala, but I've read that any inexpensive reso can be improved noticeably by just lightly sanding the rim of the cone and cover plate to get better contact with the soundboard and cone rim. A better saddle/fit is also a cheap upgrade.
