but I am after a phillips I have owned a national reso before nice ukes but i want that phillips reso sound which I cant get on a national

I think if I was hunting down one of these I would try to contact Del Rey. I bet she knows a good number of Phillips owners.

I've got Big Rusty #21 resonator which I would describe as being "fugly". I took it to a big folk festival (Kerrville) and everyone that saw (heard) it fell in love with it.
