After saving my pennies, I yesterday ordered a Kanile'a K1 tenor from MGM. (Thanks, Michael!) It soon will be joining its older sibling, the Kala KA-MT that I currently play. I'm anxiously awaiting its arrival! (I've decided that online package tracking is both a blessing and a curse.)

The only problem is that this morning I began thinking how nice it would be to start saving for a third uke, one of the new Kala concert travel ukes for taking on business trips. The early stages of UAS?

Oh yes. Definitely early stages of UAS. I had two sopranos when I started, and decided to get a tenor, and buy a nice one. I was gonig to get either a Kamaka or Kanilea... And after I finally saved up from working in the summer, and bought my Kanilea K1-T, it all went downhill from there...badly downhill...

Good thing being a full time student means no money and a need to save, so the stream of ukes has slowed.
