Soundboard Rosettes - Should I add thin black rings?

I intended to add a 1/32" wide black ring inside and out to all three soundboards. Maybe the walnut / maple combo is the only one that needs rings?

IMO the middle one could benefit by framing it with a thin black ring. The other two already have sufficient contrast to stand out

You're a brave guy. Once I get the rosette inlaid as well as you show I'd leave it alone!!
But I bet they look sharp with a border

Do it, but use 10/10/10 black/white/black purflings instead of solid black. http://www.lmii.com/products/mostly-wood/bindings-purflings/fine-multi-line-purfling
