Manitoba Hal performed at the Corktown in Toronto this past Wednesday. What a great show and performer, he really gives it on stage. The next day he did a 1-1/2 hour work shop on playing the blues which I took and throughly enjoyed.

He has a similar ability as James Hill to make the uke sound quit different and achieves a very full and complex sound. If you every get the chance to see him you will not be disappointed.

Heard him and had a class by him a few years back at one of the Tampa Bay Uke Club's annual "Getaway." Awesome talent and fun to be around. As "down to earth" as he could be. Had b'fast with him too..a great memory.

Saw him at the NY Uke Fest a number of years ago. He gave an amazing performance. Really talented uke player and vocalist. Not to be missed.

I told him he sounds like he never makes a mistake. He told me he makes a lotta mistakes, he's just really good at hiding them....
he's awesome
