SOLD : Kanile'a K2-CD koa gloss concert w/ Crossrock 1000 or Ameritage Silver

[SOLD] This is a virtually new Kanile'a K2-CD concert deluxe model, with tortoise top binding and gloss UV finish. The dark koa is quite beautiful, with nice figure and shimmer. Fretboard and pin bridge are rosewood, nut and saddle are Tusq. Fret markers (both top and side) are very colorful abalone. Thin bwbwb rosette adds an element of classiness. Purchased originally from HMS in May of 2014. Strap buttons were installed by HMS. Comes with either a new Crossrock 1000 Series fiberglass case, or a like-new Ameritage Silver Series concert case - buyer's choice. Both cases are very good fits for this ukulele. The Ameritage is significantly heavier than the Crossrock (and just about any other case you will ever find), but it is ultra tough, and a great case if you aren't on the go with your uke. The Crossrock is sleek and light, comes with a shoulder strap, and would be great for travel. Here are links to the original listing when I bought the Kanile'a, as well as links to the cases:

Everything here is as new condition and from a smoke/pet free home. Always properly humidified and cared for. This Kanile'a is an excellent and beautiful example of a top notch "K" brand concert. It's currently strung with Savarez 140R ukulele strings, which work very well on this instrument. Nice warmth with clarity, great for picking and strumming.

All photos are of actual uke for sale. A couple were taken in the sun to accentuate the grain (it really lights up in the sun!), but the true color is better reflected in the indoor shots. I can include photos of the uke in the Ameritage case if there is interest. I paid xxxxx (uke + crossrock) just a few months ago, and am now offering it for the reduced price of $SOLD, which includes PayPal fees and shipping within the US. Rest assured that it will be packed well and shipped by fast rate. Please PM with any questions. Thanks for looking!

(Not sure what is wrong with me, but I can't seem to get any photos uploaded to UU at the moment, so here is a link to my pictures on photobucket...)

Just giving a big thumbs up for Steve as a seller and on his description of his ukes for sale.
Good luck with your sale, someone will be getting a great deal.

Awesome uke at an awesome price. That ebony binding is classy looking and great case to protect it.

Thanks for the kind comments, Phil and Uke Man. Just to clarify, though, the binding is actually tortoise. It doesn't have a light colored purfling behind it, so it looks quite dark. I also originally mistook it for ebony in the HMS photos when I bought it, but it is definitely tortoise. Still quite sharp and classy looking!

Thanks,

Steve
