Hey, I've been playing my Oscar Shmidt concert for a while and I think its about time to get a new uke. I think i'm decided on the Kala Flame maple tenor with a solid sikta spruce top. Its a cutaway with electric hookup. Do you guys think this is a good choice?

P.S. I'm can't pay much more than 300 and this uke is on MGM for 318

I have been looking at that uke too. Don't worry I am not going to get it. I want to get a Flamed Maple Sprucetop Tenor sometime soon. If you want to save a few buck look for a non cutaway with out a pick-up. The pick-up is not that important for me the cutaway is cool but not really a deal breaker for me. I have found one as low as 199. Probably doesn't have a case or the MGM setup and customer service. If you get it let us know what you think.

It appears that MGM has updated his Kala Flame Maple Tenor Inventory. (http://search.stores.ebay.com/Musicguymics-Room_fmte_W0QQfciZQ2d1QQfclZ3QQfsnZMusicguymicQ27s Q20RoomQQfsooZ2QQfsopZ3QQfsubZ7330323QQftsZ2QQsase lZ34517586QQsofpZ0)

I might have to splurge and pick one of those up that maple looks amazing.
