Can someone explain this type of tuning vs "C" tuning"
D6 Tuning???

You just tune it one full step higher. A, D, F#, B
I assume they added the 6 to the name because in normal tuning, if you strum, G, C, E, A it plays the C6 chord with the C being the root note. If you tune everything up, then it's playing the D6 chord.
