whats the song played at the start of the video?? mi internet going heaps slow, so i could only watch about first 3 seconds of the song then it would stop and load... so yeah or how to play it? :D :anyone:

I visited the Viddler site yesterday after a few months and saw there were some new UU songs posted. In the past I've been able to download them and practice them without having to be connected to the internet. When I tried to download songs yesterday I wasn't able to. When I click on the "Download this" link the Flash and Original icons appear but when I click on them the page just reloads and no Save As box appears. If I right click and use the Save Target As command an HTML file downloads that is just a pointer to the original, not the file itself. I haven't made any changes to the security settings on my PC lately so I'm not sure what's going on. Any ideas? Is anyone else having this problem?

Thanks for another great lesson!!! Thanks for the E chord too I can't do the first positon E do to past hand surgery (hurts way bad) thank goodness it's only that fingering I can't do (so far)!!!! While messing around with this song I took a look at different position chords and found the 4th position A (a-4 e-5 c-4 g-6) it the same as the G# just moved down a fret works well and sounds good with the 3rd position Echord (bar 4 pinky a-7) and your barring the 4th so you got the C#m already. Thanks again!!!!!!

I'm trying to track down a problem that I have been having for the past month or so with playing videos. In particular, attempting to open a video link to any of the UU videos results in a complete lock up of Internet Explorer (v7) and requires using the Task Manager to shut it down. This also seems to leave IE trashed in general for subsequent use and requires restarting the computer to clear up. I experience a similar experience with videos from CNN, but they don't completely trash IE. Other videos, like YouTube work ok. I seem to recall that UU videos and CNN videos autostart when clicking the link. I am considering that this may be part of the problem. If someone can confirm autostart, I'll try to track down the issue further. None...

Alright guys! This week's episode of Uke Minutes is up! Uke Minutes 38 - Artificial Harmonics A few of you jumped the gun, talking about this technique in the "One-Handed Harmonics" discussion (ahemm ... *mumble*haole*mumble*cpatch) - :D but it's all good. Way to share the wealth! A method of visualizing this technique that Aldrine mentioned (that didn't make it into this Uke Minutes episode) is to imagine a bar on your 12th fret. So if you are holding down the 2nd fret with your left hand you know that you need to do the one-handed harmonics technique on the 2nd fret above the imaginary bar. This makes it a lot easier (and a lot faster) to figure out where you need to be. Questions, comments, interesting anecdotes? Do you guys...

Anyone know what kind of setup Aldrine uses for his Concert with Savarez strings? uluapoundr said he uses: for G I used 541J - high tension for C I use 543R - normal tension for E I use 542R - normal tension for A I use 541R - normal tension Thanks

This is the very first time we've had a "Chord Patterns" section, mostly because this song has some very specific patterns with some fast changes, so it might make it easier if you memorized the patterns instead of having to look at the chords all the time. What are the songs that Aldrine plays in this episode and in episode 9?

i tried going to ukulele underground on my Blackberry bold, but the vids don't load up on the website. i am able to find the vids on youtube and play it there tho. so i am wondering if folks know what i can do so i can get the website one to work. don't know if i'll be home for the live class, so i'd like to be able to view on the bold. that is one reason why i got it.. thanks!
