Review- Ohana CK-450 (P) Concert Ukulele

Truly stunning ! Lucky you .

Mim's website says " I think they decided to go in a different direction so they released the prototypes to me to sell to my customers."

Was it too simple for their customer base ?
Yours looks so much better than their CK-570G ; is that what they went with ?

Very interesting find Vic. Like you, I prefer a solid head rather than slotted ( personal preference ) Cool you found that prototype .

Also agree if it's an Ohana - it should come from Mim.

They do have a CK-450 as a current model. It has a slotted head and gloss finish.

The main difference on this one is the solid head.

I see Mim also has posted a model CK-450 BDL .
It's matte and has a "uniquely" shaped slotted headstock .
It's also labeled as a Prototype .
But I don't see a production Koa CK-450 .

I like the model CK-vcs700s :)

Beautiful review as usual, Vic.

I was watching the video on my TV and I came here to find info and I found this thread. Awesome!

I also loved your playing in this video.
Your technique keeps getting more and more precise. Congrats.
