I'll be 60 in Feb 2020, recently mobility impaired and unable to work.
In school I played violin, was in choir and four-part vocal group, and studied music theory. It had been years since I made music and I missed my old friend. In search of ways to make music, keep my brain active, and meet nice people I turned to the ukulele.
In my wheelchair small ukuleles are easier to tote than guitars, plus ukulele people are fun and friendly. So I chose well!
