  • It appears I haven't actually started a thread dealing exclusively with the Wine Country 'Ukulele Festival which is turning out to be bigger and better than we ever expected. Here's a quick run-down on the talent (in no particular order):

James Hill, Ralph Shaw, Victoria Vox, Brittni Paiva, Dominator, Steven Espaniola, Michelle Kiba, Liko Puha, Aldrine Guerrero, Moe Dixon, Derick Sebastian, and Kimo Hussey...and more keep jumping on board!

The dates are Friday - Sunday, October 9 - 11, in St. Helena, California--the Heart of the Wine Country.

Seems my post was too long, so I'll post more details later. In the meantime, please visit the website: www.winecountryukefest.com
The second, annual Wine Country Ukelele Festival is fast approaching and we need a new logo/festival design.

Whoever sends us the best design, will win a sweet little all-koa, soprano `ukulele from Ohana 'Ukuleles (www.ohana-music.com/sopr/sk300g/master.html ).

We would like the design to emphasize the "wine country" aspect of the festival and would like something as colorful and engaging last year' image: www.winecountryukefest.com . We would be using the design in all of our advertising and promotion regarding the festival as well as on posters, T-shirts, etc.

The image should be submitted to me (elainede@sbcglobal.net) as a jpeg or pdf. Use "WCUF Logo Contest" in the subject line.

The deadline for submissions is April 24 with the winner being announced about a week later. Let me know if I left anything out.
