You have the advantage of the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet and Craigslist Hawaii, both great resources for ukes. I purchased 3 solid wood ukes from Edmund Bacani of Nice ukuleles at the swap meet, good value for the price I got. You may have to haggle with him, but try to get the best price you can. If you see him, tell him Aunty Dodie sent you, this may help.
