Well, I got to play this today at our ukulele group. And let me tell you, it sucks!! It sucks that a little uke could play so well, and now I need one...Sucks I tell you 😜 Enjoy it on your travels. And if anyone wants to trade a used one for a sweet Kamaka, let me know.

Jake Wildwood takes all his ukes to 1/16th of an inch at the 12th. I have owned four-no buzzing, great tone. I think Mim is wrong on this one.

New Kamakas sounds amazing, but I far prefer the classic sound of the old white and gold labels. If this uke is in good condition, even with some hairline cracking, it is well worth it.

Ok, here is my most unpopular personal truth. I hate 98 percent of chord melodies--they just sound boring AF to me.

When I lead a song at my uke group, I say "play it with any partner you like, just not the Island Strum"

Unpopular take--strumming patters usually get in the way of people's progressing.

Because I looked at this, I got notice that the uke was on "offer' for $250. Might be a great deal for someone.

One of my complaints about the Opio is that they usually are not very pretty. That is my only one, as these are really great ukes. On this uke, that complaint is null and void--this is a great looking uke.
