Hi Matt, a former student of Jake's and I may be going to Oahu's Hawaiian Restaurant on Evergreen Way in Everett tonight for an informal kanikapila. That is great, Matt, I am glad to hear it. The Ko'olau is in a place of honor in my living room and I play it every day, frequently. Turns out my wife has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer, so in addition to losing her job a few months ago, and baby Leo coming along, now we have this. It has been the best and worst year of my life, and I have been really happy to have a good uke to strum the blues away...thanks.
