I too lost my mojo for making music the way I always had. It became work and ceased giving me any enjoyment. The ukulele (and Jake Shimabukuro) saved me, musically.

Happy to meet another reborn musician and music lover. I became a reborn uke player and enthusiast in Sept. of 2010. Put the uke down for about 50 years and got the itch when I seen them in a music store while getting my G-daughter a reed for her saxaphone.
I picked up a uke and started playing a song I learned as a 10 yr. old back in 1956. I was impressed by my memory and playing and I was HOOKED.
Since then, I've accumulated 31 ukes, but I gave 3 away to family members.
