Uke'r since the 60's when my Dad brought home a Polk-a-lele and an Islander. Went on to play guitar, bit of Bass, Mando, Banjo, Dulcimer etc in a part time pro string band (the Oak Park Farmers Market band) with some really great folks. Then got back into the Uke and play part time pro in the Harrison Street Ukulele players. Been lucky enought to have been featured on TV, Public Radio, Chicago Sun Times, Trib and Daily Hearald. The HSUP have been on the main stage of the Old Town School of Folk Music and are featured around the Chicago area in numerous events. Can't believe the number of places and experiences the Uke has brought me to.
