    Deach,

Thanks for the warm invitation. Sorry for the delayed reply. I didn't know that we could correspond without posting on UU.

Nice to know though....oh, and your Kinohi is in it's finishing stages. I'll keep you posted as that one comes about...

    Mahalo,
    Shawn

    Aloha Aaron,

Sorry for the delayed reply. I'm sort of new to the UU board and didn't realize that we could email back and forth without posting.

I must admit, I love your work and I almost bought a custom piece that Warren Dennison bought from MGM (or you?) a while ago. It was a tenor that had a canoe paddle inlayed in on the fretboard amongst some other cool things. I never had a chance to play it but the craftsmanship really jumped out at me. Nice stuff!

I'll have to take a look at the Koi on John's site but I think I've seen a few photos of the completed Hula Kahiko and that was amazing!

Mahalo for the email and do keep in touch,
    Shawn

Ditto to Deach - good to see you here as well. I got some new stuff completed recently - check out John Kitakis' site in the Custom archives - the Koi was done by Larry Robinson, and I completed the Hula Kahiko in early December, both were shown (and sold) at the NAMM Show. Also, I have a few pics at Kekani427 on photobucket. Let me know what you think.
