A bit early but keeping up with a similar thread from last year.. https://forum.ukuleleunderground.co...t-your-2021-year-goals-happy-new-year.148431/
Go ahead and post what would you like to see get done in 2022!
For me
1. Finish the the ukulele way site’s lessons.
2. Finish the book Duets for one by James Hill
3. Learn Cello suite 1 on my cello banjo
4. Sell a few ukes more (this is a hard one)
5. Make progress on the acoustic guitar front.
6. Compose one full instrumental song.
7. Loose 25 pounds
8. Start running after strength training.
9. Meditate each day
10. Be grateful and live in the moment.

Since I stupidly posted my goals in the wrong thread:

1. Finish a huge list of tasks I've been avoiding so I can reward myself with a 5-stringed uke.
2. Pile on another 15 lbs of muscle - I've always wanted to look like Vasquez from Aliens.
3. Overcome some demons. COVID took a huge crap all over my mental health.
4. Write some happier songs. My songs are all about rage problems lately
5. Regain my aerobic fitness - after whiling away quarantine pumping iron, I'm strong but very unfit. I can heft 40kgs above my head but ask me to run somewhere and I make it 5 yards then fall over and die

Thanks for putting up this thread (again); it helps me think about what I want to do next year.
For me:
1. Complete the online classical guitar class.
2. Play the piano.
3. Put together a neighborhood concert.

1. Bring the Grade 4 classical repertoire at Ukulele Corner to performance level
2. Add a few songs to my personal repertoire (thinking Desperado, The Rain Song and Don't Know Why)
3. No ukulele purchases (unless a certain custom would be finished in 2022)

1. Arrange and play a guitar/uke/2 voices arrangement of the Dead Letter Circus cover of Killing in the Name.
2. Learn to play Alan Thornton's version of Lazyhead and Sleepybones.
3. Record All is Found as a duo or trio.

Which online classical guitar class are you taking?

Which online classical guitar class are you taking?

(I don't want to post a page of irrelevant stuff to this thread so I put it elsewhere. Also, I love the class so much I want more people to know about it so I didn't just PM you. Therefore, the above link.)

1. Memorize 10 new songs
2. Play more piano
3. Drink more wine
4. Write novels
5. Do my blog: peterforrest.ca

Uke-related only…and approaching one year in (I started in February 2021).

1. Continue to play every day. At the moment, this one is no burden at all, I’m pleased to say.
2. Now I’ve done my first open mic, I really want to do more of them.
3. Memorise more songs. This goes with 2.
4. Work on my strumming and picking techniques. I use my index finger for everything - at the very least I ought to use my thumb as well.
5. Carry on going to my local uke group when permissible.
6. Keep UAS under control. Over the months I’ve been playing I bought nine. I still want another for my one year anniversary though.
7. On a similar note, find a use for the ukes I don’t play (eg: different tunings) or let them go.
8. Continue recording myself on video and putting it out there.
9. Continue learning some music theory.

I'm thinking this is either a typo or 2020 and 2021 are blurred together 😜

This one is tough!! and strong! What custom?! EXCITING!
I'm hoping to quell my UAS as well this year and dedicate some time to getting to know the beauts I have.

I really like #3, but I'm happy just remembering where I left my keys.
