Looks like it is official... but Roy Sakuma mentioned a 1hr televised History of the Ukulele Festival Hawaii to be aired some time this Summer.

I hope we all get the details in a timely manner so we can jointly enjoy what promises to be an enjoyable and educational History of one of the ukulele community's very special annual events.

I really hope they still offer to sell shirts as the money made from those goes right back into the school for the kids.

I've participated in the festival a few times playing with the huge group accompanying Willie K. What a shame to have to cancel. Roy and his wife Kathy are amazing people. Let's hope this whole crisis will soon be a distant memory. Stay safe everyone and malama pono!

Aloha, Howie!

please let me know whenever you head to HNL.
I'm recently retired but still in Seattle. I want to get to HNL
this Summer, but only after the mandatory 14-day quarantine.

Things are well here in Seattle so no worries. I'm trying to clean
house in preparation for a more permanent move to HNL in a
couple of years when Char retires :)

keep uke'in' my friend!
