*EDIT: new lessons added, see below*

Hi everyone,

I know there have been problems with the IAH registration process etc and I've heard the site may be closing down soon. I'm pretty careful with my files etc and have backed up the main lessons and all of the quick tips with a file sharing site (Mediafire).

Here's a list of what I've backed up so far:

Lesson - Sunday Morning /first ever lesson! Basic tutorial on Maroon 5's Sunday Morning, includes how to hold and strum the uke properly
Lesson - I'm Yours
Lesson - Harana/Serenade
Lesson - Somewhere over the Rainbow
Lesson - Song of Time (Zelda) *newly added
Lesson - Zelda's Lullaby *newly added
Lesson - You Don't Miss your Water *newly added
Lesson - Loud Phrases from the Quiet Type *newly added

File - Somewhere Over the Rainbow Chords and lyrics

Quick Tip 1 - Warm-ups
Quick Tip 2 - Advanced warm-ups
Quick Tip 3 - Tuning the uke
Quick Tip 4 - The 2 finger roll
Quick Tip 5 - Thumb picking
Quick Tip 6 - Clean strumming with Jake Shimabukuro

If you'd like to check them out here is the address:

Oh sad, IAH is no longer around!
Well thanks HEAPS for the Mediafire downloadable videos. Isn't it amazing how you can learn an instrument online these days?
These videos are so fantastic, I can't believe I have picked up from Aldrine how to convert my 6 string guitar techniques to use on a uke and play some great songs in a few days.

Hooray for the uploader!

For anyone who couldn't access these, I've uploaded them again and they're available at the link below. The 'I Am Hawaii' lessons first got me into the ukulele and Aldrine, and they deserve to be preserved. I checked them before uploading and they all work today on my Windows 10 PC:

Note for some reason they don’t work when I try to access them using my iPhone!

These videos are in AVI format, which is native to Windows, and likely not to play with the software that comes with iOS. You'd need to get another video player to play them on your iPad or iPhone.

Try VLC, which can play nearly any/every video format.

VLC is completely free in the app stores for iOS and Android.

See:

https://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-ios.html

and

https://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-android.html

There are also versions of VLC for Windows, Mac and Linux, and this program is way more capable than what comes with the operating systems by default.

My friend Booli told me about VLC a few years ago, and that is all I use now for playing audio and video files on all my devices.

I just wanted to follow up and confirm that I can play these videos without issue in VLC on my computer after downloading them to my hard drive.
