Good job! I have really come to adore The Kinks and Ray Davies' songwriting. I have to say though, that I don't remember ever having heard this song before. I really dig the little strummed things the bassist is doing. Actually, I dig pretty much EVERYTHING the bassist is doing!

holy crap, that's great - nothing wrong with that at all, just right..... thought I'd subscribed to your YT channel when you posted that great Randy Newman cover awhile back, but I guess I didn't. Have to do something about that..... looking forward to hearing more from you two - top drawer stuff, always.....

Yeah, I was lucky to find Dave (the bassist), who's also a swell guy.
He was the only guy to my Craigslist ad: "Upright player wanted for ukulele shenanigans."
He showed up and read down Brandi (You're a Fine Girl) in a few minutes.
That was, incredibly to me, four years ago. This was recorded within like 30 minutes of meeting.
