I just purchased a longneck soprano uke and really like the extended finger board. I play mostly Classical music and needed the longer fingerboard but I still go back to the regular Soprano.
Which longneck soprano ?

I used to own a soprano but still have a long neck. Really was impressed with the format when I had the chance to play a KoAloha in a store, though at the time was not willing to pay the price. IMHO KoAloha rules for that scale and both their concerts and long neck sopranos are oh so sweet.

Eh, Kaimuki, Uncle Rod Higuchi here from Palolo (Kaimuki HS, '66):

at one time I played Tenor and Baritone, but since about 2003 went exclusively to
Soprano scale but NOW my preference is for the 15" Concert scale.

i recently got a Synergy Hybrid eKoa/Carbon Fiber Concert (they don't make a longneck
Soprano model - my preference) and I'm playing it just about exclusively.

I'm planning on uploading to YouTube a series of Holiday Songs with links to the pdf song sheets
so others can play along. My YT Channel is ( Uncle Rod USA.Ukulele Sing Along ) :) I hope to be
uploading soon :)

Where in Kaimuki do you live? I'm at Palolo Terrace just about opposite the driveway
entrance to the Hongwanji.
